Today AJ came home from school crying. Daddy carried her in and she proceeded to tell us how her and her best friend broke up. Hailey ( the best friend) had gotten upset at Adrianna for laughing at her and called off their friendship. I cried. How do you deal with these things. The first time you're daughter has a friend spat? Is she really that grown up? I couldn't let my mind wrap around this idea that she's growing up so much.

That IS rough. We're trying to know what to say when Nora comments that someone is teasing her at school. (By the way, Nora's best friend is named Hailey, too!)
I know how uncle Colin handles it. He breaks thumbs until people treat his perfect niece with the respect she is due!
